NY Giants Training Camp Preview

Today, New York Giants WR Odell Beckham, Jr. reported to training camp and the Giants are prepared to come back from a down season. With the addition of the #QuadGodSaquon Barkley in the back field (and the addition by subtraction of Ben McAdoo), Eli Manning and Big Blue look prepared to compete for the NFC East crown.

Head Coach Pat Shurmur’s previous head coaching stints include a 9-23 record with the Cleveland Browns (an achievement) and he went undefeated (1-0) as interim Head Coach for the Philadelphia Eagles. The past two seasons he was Offensive Coordinator for the Minnesota Vikings, taking them from 28th ranked offense all the way up to 11th with Case Keenum at QB and without Adrian Peterson at RB.

Eli Manning is looking to prove that he can turn back the clock to 2008 after a couple down seasons culminating in an undeserved benching by ex-Head Coach Ben McAdooDoo. With that stench removed from 1925 Giants Drive, a healthy OBJ and the first true everydown back since Brandon Jacobs, the Giants are looking to show the Philadelphia Eagles why FOUR (4) rings are more than one (1).
