Review commonly asked questions for our NY Giants tailgate parties at MetLife Stadium
Your tailgate can start up to 3.5 hours before kickoff. Parking lots always open 5 hours prior to kickoff for NY Giants football games. Our team enters the lots upon the gates opening and secures your tailgate party spots. There is no option to begin earlier due to setup time. So, for your most common kickoff times, here are your start times:1:00pm Kickoff = 9:30am Start, 4:25pm Kickoff = 1:00pm Start, 8:25pm Kickoff = 5:00pm Start.
Man Cave Events sets up tailgate parties in one of 3 areas for NY Giants tailgate parties:
A) Platinum Lot F (VIP) near F9 curbline, just south of flagpoles. This is our preferred setup location due to setup space, low vehicle traffic and access to inner roadway.
B) Red Lot G (VIP) near G12 curbline, just north of flagpoles (suitable for groups arriving by bus)
C) Oversize Bus/RV Lot L near L2 curbline for groups arriving by bus.
For logistical reasons, we do not setup tailgates in other areas unless it is confirmed at the time of your contract signing.
We welcome groups of any size with no formal minimum or maximum guest restrictions. If guest count exceeds the recommended package total, the may be additional charges for added infrastructure where and when applicable, however, the client can choose to decline the additions (i.e. additional tenting for larger group). Catering packages may be subject to a 15 guest minimum charge unless otherwise noted by MCE.
During Game: Yes. You can extend your rental during the game for ~3 hours for guests who do not have tickets to the game. The hourly extension rate will apply – see rates for more details.
Postgame: Yes. By rule, tailgating must conclude 2 hours after the game goes final. Man Cave Events allows you to post game tailgate up to 1.5 hours, with the dismantle process starting at the 1 hour mark.
Absolutely! Most of our clients do. Although we do offer several catering packages to provide a turnkey tailgating solution, you can certainly choose to do your own food. We provide a grill, grilling utensils and essential pack with paper plates/napkins and plastic utensils/cups either way. We do not provide Grill Chef services for customer provided food for liability and food safety reasons.
