WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
Get answers to your questions about tailgating at a MetLife Stadium Concert.
Your tailgate can start up to 3.5 hours before the opening act begins. Parking lots always open 5 hours prior to MetLife Stadium concerts, with some exceptions like Kenny Chensey being 4 hours typically. Our team enters the lots upon the gates opening and secures your tailgate party spots. There is no option to begin earlier due to setup time.
Man Cave Events sets up tailgate parties in one of 3 areas for MetLife Concert tailgates, however locations may vary based on traffic pattern changes by MetLife staff:
A) Gold Lot J near the J12 curbline. This area offers ample setup space and does not require a VIP parking pass.
B) Platinum Lot F near F9 curbline, just south of flagpoles. Most concerts require a VIP parking pass for this area which cost for pass would be added to proposal.
C) Oversize Bus/RV Lot L near L2 curbline for groups arriving by bus.
For logistical reasons, we try to keep our tailgates near each other and cannot setup in other areas than noted here.
We welcome groups of any size with no formal minimum or maximum guest restrictions. If guest count exceeds the recommended package total, the may be additional charges for added infrastructure where and when applicable, however, the client can choose to decline the additions (i.e. additional tenting for larger group). Catering packages may be subject to a 15 guest minimum charge unless otherwise noted by MCE.
During Game: Yes. You can extend your rental in to the beginning of the concert for up to (1) hour. The $200 hourly extension rate will apply for rental items and may apply for other services.
Postgame: No. Dismantle process for tailgates will begin at the end of your contracted pre-concert tailgate.
Absolutely! Most of our clients do. Although we do offer several catering packages to provide a turnkey tailgating solution, you can certainly choose to do your own food. We provide a grill, grilling utensils and essential pack with paper plates/napkins and plastic utensils/cups either way. We do not provide Grill Chef services for customer provided food for liability and food safety reasons.
