WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
Here are some frequently asked questions from our Washington Commanders tailgating customers:
Your tailgate can start up to 3 hours before kickoff. Parking lots open 4 hours prior to kickoff for Washington Commanders football games. Our team enters upon the lots opening and secures your tailgate party spot(s). There is no option to begin earlier due to setup time. So, for your most common kickoff times, here are your start times:1:00pm Kickoff = 10:00am Start, 4:25pm Kickoff = 1:30pm Start, 8:25pm Kickoff = 5:30pm Start.
Man Cave Events sets up Commanders tailgate parties in the RV/Bus Lot off Sean Taylor Rd near the intersection of Sheriff Rd.
For logistical reasons, we do not setup tailgates in other areas unless it is confirmed at the time of your contract signing.
We welcome groups of any size with no formal minimum or maximum guest restrictions. If guest count exceeds the recommended package total, the may be additional charges for added infrastructure where and when applicable, however, the client can choose to decline the additions (i.e. additional tenting for larger group). Catering packages may be subject to a 15 guest minimum charge unless otherwise noted by MCE.
During Game: No. All tailgating must conclude at kickoff.
Postgame: No. All tailgating will conclude at kickoff.
Absolutely! Most of our clients do. Although we do offer several catering packages to provide a turnkey tailgating solution, you can certainly choose to do your own food. We provide a grill, grilling utensils and essential pack with paper plates/napkins and plastic utensils/cups either way. We do not provide Grill Chef services for customer provided food for liability and food safety reasons.
